Adams Canyon is a popular hiking spot in Davis County, and Nick Chase shows you exactly why in this week’s “Where To.” Enjoy not one but two waterfalls, beautiful tree canopies and exceptional views along with some challenging but still family friendly terrain.
Located off Highway 89 near Layton, this hike provides a taste of all seasons as you navigate through dense brush, lush forest, sparkling creeks and snow covered paths. This hike is approximately four miles and takes about two hours at a leisurely pace, so it’s perfect for a lovely morning or afternoon escape.
Be sure to pack some water and right now, some spikes for the icy areas, to get the most enjoyment out of the day. And be sure to watch us this weekend to plan your own hiking adventure!
