Roaming Tushar Peak at 11,000 feet? You’ll be in good company with Tushar mountain goats! In this week’s “Along the Way,” we talk with Utah Division of Wildlife Resources about these majestic goats located in the Fishlake National Forest. The herds have been on the peaks since 1986. DYK they contribute to growing the species by serving as a source herd for other herds to thrive? A total of 2,000 goats exist statewide.
See them next time you’re on the Piaute Trail. Watch with us, and Reece Stein will show you where you can spot them!
