Scofield – Tucker Loop:
This week, Chad is joining some of the crew from the Lone Peak 4×4 Club as they take an adventure straight out of the OutsidersUtah.com adventures to show you that you don’t have to take the most popular Jeep trails in the state to have a great ride. This nice mellow ride can be a breeze but due to the recent rainstorms, some parts of the road had been washed out and recently and as a result had to be graded by the local county road crews. We cannot thank them enough for their efforts as there were some places of the trial that would be unable to drive through without their efforts. Be sure to always stay safe when dealing with washed out areas as you may never know the severity of the damage or the depth or quickness of the water if it is still running.
Where To: Coastal Turkey with Reece & Marianne Stein:
On this week’s Where To Adventure, Reece and Marianne Stein are taking us back to Turkey, but this time they are showing off some of the most exquisite preserved coliseums on the coastal fronts. These massive preserved structures were once filled with spectators for a variety of events. Now, mostly visited by tourists and those looking for some magnificent site seeing, these coliseums are still something to behold and have quite the acoustic properties still intact.

He quickly realized that the land was going to be far too valuable to the wildlife and outdoor recreationists alike that he never hunted the land. Instead he developed a paradise for the wildlife and recreationists to enjoy for many years to come.

Manti LaSal Winter Land Closures: Land closures affect access for several user groups and when it doesn’t affect the particular group or sport of our interest it can be easy to think in terms of you and me vs. how it really is. We are all in this fight together as public lands means access for all regardless of our preferred method of recreation. With a recent travel management plan for winter recreation, several enthusiasts, farmers, ranchers and locals are potentially losing access for snowmobiling in high mountain areas where they have very little impact if any to the environment or the wildlife. On this adventure we tagged along with some of these folks to get their perspective on these potential land closures and what we can do to help keep access open for everyone.

The off-roaders have to provide the rig and directions to the non off-roaders who must take their loaned rig through the difficult course to try and be the off-road games champion. This was a great collaboration of many excellent YouTubers.

By identifying these 30 trails and riding and documenting them, they were able to create The Lost Trails Guidebook which features these 30 trails and identifies how you can get involved simply by riding, supporting and being an advocate for these trails. Kanab Red Rock ATV Jamboree: Kanab is a one of a kind place and this is a one of a kind jamboree. The city of Kanab is filled with some fun and exciting history being one of the hotbeds for many of the western films of that era that were filmed in and around the area. However, it is also a hotbed of even more ancient history as you can easily find on a guided trail at the jamboree. These guided rides have stops at some amazing overlooks and views but many of the planned stops are also filled with petroglyphs and water glyphs that you’d never know were out in the desert without a guide to show you the history. On this particular trip we were able to stay at the Grand Plateau RV Resort which featured a plethora of amenities to please any travelers as well as their furry friends. With a great spot to stay and ride right out of the resort onto some great trails, Jared Johnson and the kids decided to come a day early and do some dirt biking and get some early enjoyment of the scenery.
